N.C. State law requires all dogs and cats, once they reach the age of 4 months
to be vaccinated for Rabies and to wear Rabies Tags at all times.
Susan G. Komen® North Carolina Triangle to the Coast awards a $25,000.00 grant to Northampton County Health Department
Susan G. Komen® North Carolina Triangle to the Coast has awarded a $25,000.00 grant to Northampton County Health Department to fund the Northampton County Community Alliance for Breast Health initiative. The purpose of this project is to implement a community-based breast cancer prevention education intervention to reduce and eliminate breast cancer disparities in Northampton County. The alliance seeks to increase access to early breast detection through breast health awareness by providing a framework model addressing barriers experienced by the uninsured/underinsured rural population. Komen North Carolina Triangle to the Coast Community Health Grants support under-insured, under-served populations in central and eastern North Carolina.
